I don't know what I'd do without my Outlook rules! I use them to automatically move newsletters into a Reading file, notifications from social media sites to their own folders, to flag client emails, and so on. That way I don't waste time organizing them myself, and I don't get distracted by less important messages because they are not in my Inbox.
