Be strict about your time. Decide when you’re going to stop working and give yourself 15 minutes of ‘transition time’ at the end of your work cycle to brain-dump everything you haven’t covered so far. Make a list of everything on your mind, and all you need to do when you return to your work. And then, do the most magical thing: shut down your computer. Don’t check emails or look at ANY work related stuff when you’re in ‘off-time’. Those in your circle deserve your undivided attention when you are not working. Be present when you are present. Don’t check your phone or divide your time texting. Truly unplug and savor the quiet time by yourself or with others.
