It is certainly easy (and FUN) to buy beautiful products.
So many people purchase products endlessly, and when asked, truly feel that the product will solve their organizing problem and reduce tension.
Unfortunately, the idea that a product will solve a problem has a few flaws in it, and may actually get you into trouble.
Before you spontaneously purchase the next product you see… FIRST, think about how you USE an item or a space before you find something beautiful to fill that space up.
Identifying how something is used, or its purpose is more important that what it looks like. If it is not functional, it will not be used and therefore be a waste!
When considering tools, furniture and products you wish to acquire, FIRST figure out what function they need to serve. That’s Function before FORM, and it will lead you to better decisions EVERY time!
