Mompreneur Management Tip – Complete Those Tasks!

April 2, 2013 by Cena Block 2 Comments

Why do you have trouble managing your time?

Well to put it simply, it’s likely due to the fact that you focus more on the pain vs. the root causes of your pain.

How do you get better at managing your time?

SIMPLE – Figure out where your pain is, then focus on fixing the root causes that are the drivers behind that pain…

tasks/check list/sanespaces.comIf your complaint is this, you may need to focus on the following:

You Don’t Complete The Tasks You Set Out To!

Are you a poor finisher? Do you have trouble completing tasks?  You may be over-drawn, and under delivering most of the time… if so, focus on managing your time and chunking out your projects into mini, doable tasks. You also may be the dreaded – HOPPER… a person who enjoys the adrenalin kick of starting things… but may get bored with the finish details. If this is you – you need to focus on knocking those incomplete things off of your list… one, by, one. If they’re no longer important to you or your success, then let them go, or if you don’t want to complete them – then figure out who will!!

If you can isolate your particular “GAP” (or gaps) in terms of what is NOT working for you, you’ll be able to better determine what you think you might need and use best. Understanding root causes to problems enables you to reclaim your time!

About Cena Block

Welcome readers! If this is your first time visiting my blog, thank you for stopping by. I'm Cena and I work with high performers, professionals, and entrepreneurs with ADHD. If you're an entrepreneur or high- performing professional who is distracted, overwhelmed, and feeling lost in the shuffle, let's talk. As a Certified Productivity Coach (CPC-2020) and Certified Organizer Coach (COC-2017) and Productivity Consultant, I can help. I work with clients in 3 different ways: Coach, Consultant, and Productivity. Together we help you slow down, focus and get curious. Weekly coaching sessions help you recognize when your inner critic is in your way, and provide small steps forward. ADHD brains work differently than neurotypical brains. While freedom and flexibility energize you, routines, tracking, and systems help you calm down, cut the chaos, and provide the grounding your brain needs to be at its best. Working with a Certified ADHD Coach is essential. I can help you understand how your ADHD shows up. Together we grow your business and improve your career results while finding quality time for family, your passions and yourself!
