It’s okay to recognize your weaknesses and get help from people who are better than you!
I’m a fan of creating a robust, motley team of people who are wonderfully juicy, different, exciting and themselves.
I ALWAYS look for people who are better, smarter, more talented, more detailed and more capable in the areas where I struggle. Finding people with strengths and skills that far surpass mine, is my goal as a business owner. This strategy works to my advantage because I’m able to cover my gaps and create bridges. It is actually very empowering to other people to contribute within their brilliant zone. Let’s face it not everyone is good at everything. And there may be things that you really don’t like to do at all. One of the best strategies to save yourself time and better manage your tasks is to find people who can support you and that have areas of brilliance where you struggle.
One of the key Sanity Dimensions™ is support. Support can come in all shapes and sizes. You may choose to get support with your home or your business responsibilities. And one of the best strategies to get support is to ask everyone you know when you’re struggling with something. You just never know who knows whom and what skills are just around the corner waiting to be hired by you.
What are the key areas that you need support with? What do you struggle with most as a mom business owner? Please discuss them in the comments section below!
