Organizing and cleaning your house can be difficult to fit in when you’re a mompreneur pulled in a million different directions, but there are ways to include housework in your busy schedule. If your New Year’s resolution is to keep your home nice and tidy, then try some of these tips:
- Donate Clothes If you find that your closet seems filled to the brim, try donating old clothes that you never wear. The easy way to work this into your schedule is that whenever you happen to try on a piece of clothing that you feel uncomfortable wearing, put that item in a bag to donate (heavy duty trash bags work great for this). This can help your self-esteem and will create more room in your closet. It will also save you the time of going through your closet all at once.
- Give Away Old Magazines Donating old magazines could also help to make more room in your house, depending on how many magazines you have kept over the years. The easy way to go about this, though, would be to simply throw out any makeup that you do not use on a regular basis or that you have not used in a year (or possibly two years

These tips are only some of the ways that organizing your house can be made into a much more manageable task. Think about what part of your life you want to organize the most and then try to think of ways that you can incorporate this organizing task into your daily routine. Pretty soon your life will be organized without you even realizing it!
What are you “organizing resolutions” for this year to keep your busy life on track? Please share, I’d love to know!
