Our thoughts become our reality.
What we think about most is what we manifest in our lives.
Our thoughts reflect our ‘attention’ – and sometimes when we give our attention to the wrong things it can keep us resonating in an area that pulls us away from where we really want to be.
I grew up with a mom who worried a lot… a lot.
I remember as a kid – questioning why she worried so much. It seemed a wee bit excessive to me, and I could literally watch how miserable, scared and upset she could make herself – with worry.
Negative thoughts tend to cycle, circle and resonate. All the cycling keeps us stuck, frozen and becomes a barrier for where we want to be. Spending your attention on things you do NOT want only brings more attention to them.
In the case of negative thoughts – sometimes we need to shift our ‘attention’ to better reflect our ‘intention’.
A very quick way to step away from negative thinking is to focus on gratefulness.
What is something that you are grateful for… right now in this moment?
Finding one positive thing to be thankful for, can easily shift you right now.
