Mind BLOWN! This is how I feel after every single coaching session with Cena. I often have to sit there and process for another 10-15 minutes just so I don’t forget any of the “A’Ha” moments from our conversation. Luckily she records the meetings too, so you can play them back if you need to. So who am I, you ask?
I am a 38 year old high-performing professional with ADHD. I have an MBA and a middle management, high-stress international job with significant demands and multiple countries and time zones to support. As you might think, there are a lot of distractions that I can easily follow down the rabbit hole if I allow myself to. I was diagnosed formally with ADHD when I was about 34, and I began taking medication at that time too. My father and brother, and many members of my father’s family all have ADHD also, but I didn’t think that I had it also until a few years ago, when I got married. I started learning about ADHD in more detail in my therapy following diagnoses, but I was still in major denial about my ability to manage the symptoms effectively, my emotional de-regulation, my ability to organize, my prioritization, and the affects that ADHD had on virtually every single aspect of my life, especially my relationship with my wife. I initially sought additional coaching because I was having challenges getting along and communicating with my wife, and couples counseling wasn’t helping ( at least one that was not ADHD focused.) I had read a little bit online about ADHD coaching as a potential path rather than therapy, so I started seeking out a coach near me with this specialty, and I found Cena online.
There is a saying that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. This big magic/ serendipitous thing happened with Cena and I. I am so glad that I found Cena, and decided to trust the process and continue working on myself and my ADHD, and how I can continue down the path of growth to become the best version of myself. When I talked with Cena initially, I told her about my issues with my ADHD and my communication and relationship. She immediately referred me to Melissa Orlov’s book and class about ADHD and relationships. She told me that it would be best to get that part of my life straightened out before I would be able to focus and work further on myself and my ADHD. This immediately let me know that Cena was in the business of helping me, and helping people, not making a buck. She could have easily started the coaching with me, and left me to figure out the relationship's challenges on my own. Instead, she referred me to a program that gave me a ton of insight and understanding and helped me tremendously, before I began my coaching work with her.
My wife and I took the Melissa Orlov online class and it was very helpful and insightful. We did a lot of work through that course, and my self-awareness increased drastically over those couple months. I then began working with Cena in a 1:1 coaching package, and have continued with bi-monthly coaching following the initial package.
I have been working with Cena for almost a year, and I have learned so much about myself!! I can literally say that I am a completely different person today than I was a year ago. I am so much more self-aware, confident, living life more in the moment, prioritizing things that are important to me, and creating the space and awareness to pause in the moment and choose reactions rather than allowing myself to dergulate. By putting in the work, coming to the sessions with an open mind, being committed to the process and the coaching, and understanding new concepts, I have made great strides. I am still very much a work in progress, but she helps me create clarity in my boggled mind every single session, and coaches me on the path to self-awareness. - Cena’s program allows you to get to know yourself, what is important to you from the inside - a values, needs and vision perspective, how you spend your time currently ( aka where you are possibly wasting time?), what your personal time and space style is, and how to introduce routines and balance into your day. Her coaching is flexible and is easy to get into, and that’s just the beginning. Then you start getting into the organizational frameworks.
- She is extremely knowledgeable not only in the field of entrepreneurship, coaching, and ADHD, but in organizing your life, human nature, and so many other things. She studies the brain and the science behind ADHD and uses this knowledge to create ideas and frameworks that helped me to capture and bottom line my ideas. She is approachable, non-judgmental, firm in her expectations of you putting in the work for coaching, and very easy to talk to. She tells it like it is, but isn’t brash or rude about it ever, which I appreciate. The great thing is, she is also willing to be vulnerable and REAL with you, and shares her experiences to help you understand your own. I felt like I had known her for years in our very first conversation.
- Cena helps you to embrace your ADHD, and even look at it as a SUPERPOWER, rather than a negative aspect of your being or a hindrance to your ability to achieve success. After being told for the last 4-5 years that it was a huge negative, an issue or problem with me and the way I was, and contemplating and evaluating all the times when I had been told I should be ashamed about it throughout the course of my life, it was a pretty revolutionary thought. It flipped the script completely in my head when I started looking at my random, hyper-curious and interested, distracted, contextual mind as a thing of beauty. I started to see my ADHD as a factor in my ability to see and understand so many things that other people did not have the contextual framework in their brains to be able to connect. Although I am not neuro-typical, I have embraced my ADHD whole- heartedly, and now I am actually proud of it, rather than hiding it from everyone I know as something to be embarrassed or ashamed of.

I just wanted to check in and share my appreciation with you. This summer we had quite a few events, vacations, camps, and just overall times when I was away from the office. In spite of that though, I have been able to continue to work by planning ahead and deciding what work would be done when I returned from whatever was pulling me away from the office.
My kids started back to school last week, and I was able to start back at work with a sense of normalcy. The best part was I started back to work with a ZERO backlog! That is the first time in over 18 months that I haven't had some project that wasn't completed on time or that I was talking with a customer about alternative deadlines. Despite the fact that I have been out of the office for 4 weeks this summer, I was able to produce more products than I have in over two years! I was even able to keep up with invoicing and prepping for upcoming projects. This has all been done with minimal chaos and crisis moments.
Yesterday I was talking with my husband. I am in awe of the amount of work I was able to accomplish the past 8 weeks, even though I was gone for half that time. My customers are happy and I am working on numerous large orders at one time. In the past I would only work on one large order at a time because I was nervous I couldn't keep up if I did more than that.
I cannot thank you enough for the help you've been to me. You really helped me to understand how I work best, identify my weak spots, and adjust to overcome those weak areas. I have not had this sense of peace in years. At the beginning of 2021 I was seriously contemplating shutting down my business. I did not have hope that I would be able to overcome some of the challenges I faced in my business. Now I am seriously looking at ways to expand!

I was in business for myself for a full year and could never quite pull off my vision, it seemed like weird roadblocks would pop up or I wouldn't make progress on something that should have been simple. I was ready to quit my own business and go back to the corporate grind but decided to try one crazy thing before that -- hire a business coach. She uses adept conversation skills to really make the most of our time together, we manage to hit on a lot of issues and get into the details without getting lost or sidetracked. I don't feel like a moment is wasted when we are on the line. And her online modules give me structure and focus between sessions to go deeper.
She knows when to listen and when to ask questions. Yeah, it sometimes gets challenging or uncomfortable and she asks me to face things I haven't really addressed about how I operate my business, but she does it in a way that is so encouraging and well-intentioned that I have always felt deeply supported. She is never critical, but always ready to be my fearless accountability partner. She is on my team.
In 5 months, I have made more progress than I could have imagined. From the big picture strategy stuff (crystalizing my service offering, identifying my ideal clients and spending my limited time in the right places) down to the details (new headshots and newsletter systems) Cena has supported me in taking action and making real progress. Cena has also been supportive of my non-business ventures. She gave me great tips when I moved my family and was flexible in rescheduling those calls so I could focus on the chaos at home!
Since I started working with her 5 months ago, I spend more time with my spouse talking about fun stuff and a lot less time trying to figure out why this business isn't working like I thought it would. I did this as a last ditched resort before giving up, and I only regret I didn't do it sooner.

As Professional Development Director for the National Association of Professional Organizers Chicago Chapter (NAPO-Chicago), I am tasked with locating and securing programs for our chapter meetings. This year, the emphasis has been on helping members earn continuing education credits. The TSSI Assessment is now one of the cornerstone pieces of my VIP programs. As a time strategy visionary, I believe that each person’s time management plan needs to be as unique as they are, and focus on their strengths. Finally, a tool to help me quickly pinpoint those strengths! Using the TSSI early in our coaching program allows the client to gain new awareness around how they view their time and space. Typically this would take 4 – 5 sessions to really hone in. Plus we are able to explore this awareness more throughout our sessions easily, as we now share a common language.
I find the online modules and resources invaluable. I specialize in time management – yet I know that time and space are linked. Knowing I can grab a quick refresher on any of the 6 space styles whenever I need to is very comforting. I find I tend to “over prepare” before client sessions, so knowing I can pull up any info I need, quickly, helps me to keep my prep time to a minimum. In addition, the resources are easy to use and share with clients. My “hopper” clients rave about the “Hopper To-Do” list. They will often say “this list ‘gets me’ ”. Which makes me look like a rock star!
When I initially went from hourly pricing to program pricing, I struggled with how to add value so it doesn’t just look like 3 months of coaching sessions at $X? I needed to make sure I provided 3 months of coaching sessions AND other components. Using the TSSI is one of the ways I was able to add value for my VIP clients. They can’t get this information, and the debrief that goes with this information, everywhere!
In addition, I’ve been able to re-engage some former clients with a mini-TSSI session. Having the ability to use this as a marketing tool for clients that weren’t in a VIP program in the past is invaluable. Once they take the TSSI and we debrief, they are once again aware of the possibilities that additional coaching can bring.

Professional organizers could spend hours and hours preparing a presentation like this on their own, but she’s done the most difficult work for you. I think the Planapaloozah was a success! As Professional Development Director for the National Association of Professional Organizers Chicago Chapter (NAPO-Chicago), I am tasked with locating and securing programs for our chapter meetings. This year, the emphasis has been on helping members earn continuing education credits. Because our meetings draw newbies, veterans, and everything in between, it can be tricky to find the right balance while sticking to our budget.
One of the options we considered, was bringing in a virtual speaker. It seemed like a cost-effective way to bring a highly informative presentation to our meeting site from an nationally known professional organizer. Because we had not had virtual presentations in previous years, I was a little nervous, so I included the Corporate Associate who assists with our tech needs at meetings to make sure we could set it up properly.
I connected with Cena Block of Sane Spaces via twitter and we moved forward with the details. She was extremely professional and made it easy for us to bring everything together. We were not sure what to expect, but we were motivated to give it a try!
Cena' presentation exceeded our expectations! It was applicable to professional organizers, as well as our clients. The TSSI Assessment is now one of the cornerstone pieces of my VIP programs. As a time strategy visionary, I believe that each person’s time management plan needs to be as unique as they are, and focus on their strengths. Finally, a tool to help me quickly pinpoint those strengths! Using the TSSI early in our coaching program allows the client to gain new awareness around how they view their time and space. Typically this would take 4 – 5 sessions to really hone in. Plus we are able to explore this awareness more throughout our sessions easily, as we now share a common language.
I find the online modules and resources invaluable. I specialize in time management – yet I know that time and space are linked. Knowing I can grab a quick refresher on any of the 6 space styles whenever I need to is very comforting. I find I tend to “over prepare” before client sessions, so knowing I can pull up any info I need, quickly, helps me to keep my prep time to a minimum. In addition, the resources are easy to use and share with clients. My “hopper” clients rave about the “Hopper To-Do” list. They will often say “this list ‘gets me’ ”. Which makes me look like a rock star!
When I initially went from hourly pricing to program pricing, I struggled with how to add value so it doesn’t just look like 3 months of coaching sessions at $X? I needed to make sure I provided 3 months of coaching sessions AND other components. Using the TSSI is one of the ways I was able to add value for my VIP clients. They can’t get this information, and the debrief that goes with this information, everywhere!
In addition, I’ve been able to re-engage some former clients with a mini-TSSI session. Having the ability to use this as a marketing tool (IS THIS EVEN THE CORRECT PHRASE??!!) for clients that weren’t in a VIP program in the past is invaluable. Once they take the TSSI and we debrief, they are once again aware of the possibilities that additional coaching can bring.

Mind BLOWN! This is how I feel after every single coaching session with Cena. I often have to sit there and process for another 10-15 minutes just so I don’t forget any of the “A’Ha” moments from our conversation. Luckily she records the meetings too, so you can play them back if you need to. So who am I, you ask?
I am a 38 year old high-performing professional with ADHD. I have an MBA and a middle management, high-stress international job with significant demands and multiple countries and time zones to support. As you might think, there are a lot of distractions that I can easily follow down the rabbit hole if I allow myself to. I was diagnosed formally with ADHD when I was about 34, and I began taking medication at that time too. My father and brother, and many members of my father’s family all have ADHD also, but I didn’t think that I had it also until a few years ago, when I got married. I started learning about ADHD in more detail in my therapy following diagnoses, but I was still in major denial about my ability to manage the symptoms effectively, my emotional de-regulation, my ability to organize, my prioritization, and the affects that ADHD had on virtually every single aspect of my life, especially my relationship with my wife. I initially sought additional coaching because I was having challenges getting along and communicating with my wife, and couples counseling wasn’t helping ( at least one that was not ADHD focused.) I had read a little bit online about ADHD coaching as a potential path rather than therapy, so I started seeking out a coach near me with this specialty, and I found Cena online.
There is a saying that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. This big magic/ serendipitous thing happened with Cena and I. I am so glad that I found Cena, and decided to trust the process and continue working on myself and my ADHD, and how I can continue down the path of growth to become the best version of myself. When I talked with Cena initially, I told her about my issues with my ADHD and my communication and relationship. She immediately referred me to Melissa Orlov’s book and class about ADHD and relationships. She told me that it would be best to get that part of my life straightened out before I would be able to focus and work further on myself and my ADHD. This immediately let me know that Cena was in the business of helping me, and helping people, not making a buck. She could have easily started the coaching with me, and left me to figure out the relationships challenges on my own. Instead she referred me to a program that gave me a ton of insight and understanding and helped me tremendously, before I began my coaching work with her.
My wife and I took the Melissa Orlov online class and it was very helpful and insightful. We did a lot of work through that course, and my self-awareness increased drastically over those couple months. I then began working with Cena in a 1:1 coaching package, and have continued with bi-monthly coaching following the initial package.
I have been working with Cena for almost a year, and I have learned so much about myself!! I can literally say that I am a completely different person today than I was a year ago. I am so much more self-aware, confident, living life more in the moment, prioritizing things that are important to me, and creating the space and awareness to pause in the moment and choose reactions rather than allowing myself to dergulate. I felt like I had known her for years in our very first conversation.
- Cena helps you to embrace your ADHD, and even look at it as a SUPERPOWER, rather than a negative aspect of your being or a hindrance to your ability to achieve success. After being told for the last 4-5 years that it was a huge negative, an issue or problem with me and the way I was, and contemplating and evaluating all the times when I had been told I should be ashamed about it throughout the course I my life, it was a pretty revolutionary thought. It flipped the script completely in my head when I started looking at my random, hyper curious and interested, distracted, contextual mind as a thing of beauty. I started to see my ADHD as a factor in my ability to see and understand so many things that other people did not have the contextual framework in their brains to be able to connect. Although I am not neuro-typical, I have embraced my ADHD whole heartedly, and now I am actually proud of it, rather than hiding it from everyone I know as something to be embarrassed or ashamed of.

I just wanted to check in and share my appreciation with you. This summer we had quite a few events, vacations, camps, and just overall times when I was away from the office. In spite of that though, I have been able to continue to work by planning ahead and deciding what work would be done when I returned from whatever was pulling me away from the office.
My kids started back to school last week, and I was able to start back at work with a sense of normalcy. The best part was I started back to work with a ZERO backlog! That is the first time in over 18 months that I haven't had some project that wasn't completed on time or that I was talking with a customer about alternative deadlines. Despite the fact that I have been out of the office for 4 weeks this summer, I was able to produce more products than I have in over two years! I was even able to keep up with invoicing and prepping for upcoming projects. This has all been done with minimal chaos and crisis moments.
Yesterday I was talking with my husband. I am in awe of the amount of work I was able to accomplish the past 8 weeks, even though I was gone for half that time. My customers are happy and I am working on numerous large orders at one time. In the past I would only work on one large order at a time because I was nervous I couldn't keep up if I did more than that.
I cannot thank you enough for the help you've been to me. You really helped me to understand how I work best, identify my weak spots, and adjust to overcome those weak areas. I have not had this sense of peace in years. At the beginning of 2021 I was seriously contemplating shutting down my business. I did not have hope that I would be able to overcome some of the challenges I faced in my business. Now I am seriously looking at ways to expand!

I was in business for myself for a full year and could never quite pull off my vision, it seemed like weird roadblocks would pop up or I wouldn't make progress on something that should have been simple. Yeah, it sometimes gets challenging or uncomfortable and she asks me to face things I haven't really addressed about how I operate my business, but she does it in a way that is so encouraging and well-intentioned that I have always felt deeply supported. She is never critical, but always ready to be my fearless accountability partner. She is on my team.
In 5 months, I have made more progress than I could have imagined. From the big picture strategy stuff (crystalizing my service offering, identifying my ideal clients and spending my limited time in the right places) down to the details (new headshots and newsletter systems) Cena has supported me in taking action and making real progress. Cena has also been supportive of my non-business ventures. She gave me great tips when I moved my family and was flexible in rescheduling those calls so I could focus on the chaos at home!

As Professional Development Director for the National Association of Professional Organizers Chicago Chapter (NAPO-Chicago), I am tasked with locating and securing programs for our chapter meetings. The TSSI Assessment is now one of the cornerstone pieces of my VIP programs. As a time strategy visionary, I believe that each person’s time management plan needs to be as unique as they are, and focus on their strengths. Finally, a tool to help me quickly pinpoint those strengths! Using the TSSI early in our coaching program allows the client to gain new awareness around how they view their time and space. Typically this would take 4 – 5 sessions to really hone in. Plus we are able to explore this awareness more throughout our sessions easily, as we now share a common language.
I find the online modules and resources invaluable. I specialize in time management – yet I know that time and space are linked. Knowing I can grab a quick refresher on any of the 6 space styles whenever I need to is very comforting. I find I tend to “over prepare” before client sessions, so knowing I can pull up any info I need, quickly, helps me to keep my prep time to a minimum. In addition, the resources are easy to use and share with clients. My “hopper” clients rave about the “Hopper To-Do” list. They will often say “this list ‘gets me’ ”. Which makes me look like a rock star!
When I initially went from hourly pricing to program pricing, I struggled with how to add value so it doesn’t just look like 3 months of coaching sessions at $X? I needed to make sure I provided 3 months of coaching sessions AND other components. Using the TSSI is one of the ways I was able to add value for my VIP clients. They can’t get this information, and the debrief that goes with this information, everywhere!
In addition, I’ve been able to re-engage some former clients with a mini-TSSI session. Having the ability to use this as a marketing tool for clients that weren’t in a VIP program in the past is invaluable. Once they take the TSSI and we debrief, they are once again aware of the possibilities that additional coaching can bring.

As Professional Development Director for the National Association of Professional Organizers Chicago Chapter (NAPO-Chicago), I am tasked with locating and securing programs for our chapter meetings. This year, the emphasis has been on helping members earn continuing education credits. Because our meetings draw newbies, veterans, and everything in between, it can be tricky to find the right balance while sticking to our budget.
One of the options we considered, was bringing in a virtual speaker. It seemed like a cost-effective way to bring a highly informative presentation to our meeting site from an nationally known professional organizer. Because we had not had virtual presentations in previous years, I was a little nervous, so I included the Corporate Associate who assists with our tech needs at meetings to make sure we could set it up properly.

The TSSI Assessment is now one of the cornerstone pieces of my VIP programs. As a time strategy visionary, I believe that each person’s time management plan needs to be as unique as they are, and focus on their strengths. Finally, a tool to help me quickly pinpoint those strengths! Using the TSSI early in our coaching program allows the client to gain new awareness around how they view their time and space. Typically this would take 4 – 5 sessions to really hone in. Plus we are able to explore this awareness more throughout our sessions easily, as we now share a common language.
I find the online modules and resources invaluable. I specialize in time management – yet I know that time and space are linked. Knowing I can grab a quick refresher on any of the 6 space styles whenever I need to is very comforting. I find I tend to “over prepare” before client sessions, so knowing I can pull up any info I need, quickly, helps me to keep my prep time to a minimum. In addition, the resources are easy to use and share with clients. My “hopper” clients rave about the “Hopper To-Do” list. They will often say “this list ‘gets me’ ”. Which makes me look like a rock star!
When I initially went from hourly pricing to program pricing, I struggled with how to add value so it doesn’t just look like 3 months of coaching sessions at $X? I needed to make sure I provided 3 months of coaching sessions AND other components. Using the TSSI is one of the ways I was able to add value for my VIP clients. They can’t get this information, and the debrief that goes with this information, everywhere!
In addition, I’ve been able to re-engage some former clients with a mini-TSSI session. Having the ability to use this as a marketing tool (IS THIS EVEN THE CORRECT PHRASE??!!) for clients that weren’t in a VIP program in the past is invaluable. Once they take the TSSI and we debrief, they are once again aware of the possibilities that additional coaching can bring.
